Last Day in Resolute Bay
Today we spent the morning on the ice back at Cape Martyr. We drank hot chocolate and went snowmobiling on the hill.
We shared dried bananas from our friends in Key West with our friends in Resolute Bay

Today we went out to the end of the point.
Stopped to see some seals on ice. Could not get too close before they went into the water. While we waited at the seal hole a raven flew overhead
After our morning on the ice, we visited the Inuit school. While at the school, we were welcomed as guests and shown many new and wonderful things. They made caribou stew and traditional bannik bread for us.
In addition to the principal Brian Manning and outreach coordinator Tracey MacMillan we were joined by Levi, Congressman of the region. He welcomed us and gave us a talk on the history of Resolute. Certificates were then presented to all commemorating our visit to Resolute Bay.
We were treated to a traditional Inuit throat singing performance and we were taught how to use a traditional drum.
Fun was had by all and we don't want to leave our new friends tomorrow.
WE WILL BE BACK......
